HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
At Peak Pickleball, we are passionate about creating an environment where everyone feels welcome to play, learn, and enjoy the game. While we actively encourage participation, the health, safety, and well-being of every player and visitor is our highest priority.
Organisation Responsibilities:
To support this policy, Peak Pickleball is committed to the following:
Conducting regular, recorded risk assessments of the venue and all activities
Creating and maintaining a safe playing environment by acting on any risks identified
Ensuring all customers are aware of and understand our health and safety policies and expectations
Appointing a competent person to oversee health and safety responsibilities
Ensuring clear normal operating procedures (NOPs) and emergency procedures (EOPs) are in place and accessible
Providing appropriate access to first aid, a working telephone, and a qualified first aider at all times during play
Logging and reporting any accidents or injuries that occur during Peak Pickleball sessions or events
Regularly reviewing and monitoring the policy to ensure it remains up to date and effective
Customer Responsibilities:
By booking and participating in Peak Pickleball sessions or events, each customer agrees to:
Take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of those around them
Accepts the waiver and liability terms
Cooperate fully with any health and safety guidance provided by Peak Pickleball staff or organisers
Use any equipment provided correctly and safely
Not interfere with or misuse anything provided for health, safety, or welfare purposes
Listen to and follow all instructions given by Peak Pickleball coaches, organisers, or venue staff
We want everyone at Peak Pickleball to enjoy the game in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Thank you for helping us make that possible
