CODE OF CONDUCT & WAIVER OF LIABILITY
By attending Peak Pickleball, booking a court/session, or taking part in any of our activities, you agree to the following terms designed to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive playing environment for all
Health & Safety
Please inform us in advance of any medical condition, injury, or concern that may affect your ability to safely participate
Participation is at your own risk. You accept personal responsibility for managing your own well-being and safety during sessions
Footwear & Court Etiquette
Wear appropriate sports trainers or court shoes (e.g. indoor tennis or court trainers with non-marking soles). Running shoes, walking shoes, and black soles are not permitted for safety and court maintenance reasons
Warm up before play and cool down properly afterwards with stretches and light movement. Seek advice from a medical professional if unsure about what’s appropriate for you
Stay hydrated before, during, and after play
On-Court Behaviour
Take care when moving for low balls or lobs – especially when running backwards or near court boundaries
If a ball rolls onto another court, call "BALL ON COURT" loudly. Never walk onto an active court to retrieve it; wait for the point to be over before safely collecting your ball, or wait for another player to give you your ball
Do not walk behind an active court during play. Wait until the point is over and communicate clearly before passing behind/through
Use only one ball per court. Extra or stray balls should be removed promptly to avoid trip hazards
Do not bring bags, bottles, or towels onto the court or hang them on net posts; these can create safety risks and reduce visibility
Respect & Responsibility
Be respectful to everyone: fellow players, coaches, staff, and visitors
Do not act in a way that could endanger others or negatively impact the playing environment
Follow all instructions from Peak Pickleball organisers and coaches
Understand that while our sessions are designed with safety in mind, participation involves some risk. By taking part, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to behave responsibly
Thank you for helping us create a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming space for all players
Let’s keep raising the level, on and off the court
Cancellation Policy
Bookings can be edited or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of the event. You will automatically receive a refund if you have cancelled up to 24 hours in advance.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will not receive a refund.
Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability
I understand that participating in pickleball and related activities at Peak Pickleball involves risks, including but not limited to:
Injury from physical activity (e.g., sprains, fractures, collisions)
Falls or trips on courts or facility grounds
Sudden illness or medical events (including death)
Use of equipment or contact with other players
I freely and voluntarily accept all such risks, known or unknown. I understand that the Centre takes reasonable steps to ensure a safe environment, but cannot eliminate all risk

In consideration for being allowed to use Peak Pickleball’s facilities and participate in activities, I agree to:
Release, waive, and discharge Peak Pickleball, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from all liability for injury, loss, or damage sustained during my participation
Indemnify and hold harmless the Centre from any claims arising out of my actions or participation
Refrain from bringing any legal action against the Centre
