Pickleball is a fantastic way for people of all ages to have fun and get active.
With its lightweight paddles and slower balls, it’s the perfect sport for children learning coordination. Pickleball is a safe and engaging introduction to racket sports. Great for PE classes, after-school sessions, and family games.
Pickleball’s quick-paced rallies keep things exciting, competitive and social. And with talk of it becoming an Olympic sport in 2032, there’s never been a better time for the next generation to get into the game.
Our Youth Play programme is coming soon…

We’re all about play, but the connections made off-court matter just as much. Think dinks & drinks to themed socials, charity events and player meetups, our socials keep the good times rolling. Everyone’s invited, because Peak Pickleball is a place to belong, not just a place to play.

Pickleball is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It's played mainly in doubles with a plastic ball on a small court. There are 4 key rules:
1. Underhand serve
2. The ball must bounce once on both sides of the net before volleying can start
3. No volleying in the ‘kitchen’ - the area closest to the net
4. Play to 11 points, win by 2

Starter/improver players are still getting comfortable with the basics—learning the main shots, getting a short rally going (2–4 shots), and getting to grips with the rules and scoring in doubles.
You don’t need a DUPR rating but players will typically fall into the 1.0 - 2.5 skill level category.
-
Intermediate players have solid groundstrokes and volleys, and a good understanding of basic doubles strategy and court positioning.
You don’t need a DUPR rating but players will typically fall into the 2.5 - 3.5 skill level category.
-
Intermediate PLUS players have mastered basic doubles tactics, understand when and how to execute drops and dinks, and can demonstrate effective strategic doubles play.
You don’t need a DUPR rating but players will typically fall into the 3.5+ skill level category.
-
Advanced players bring a high level of skill, strategy, and court awareness to their game. You consistently play well with other advanced players, compete successfully at the 4+ level, and hold a matching DUPR rating (or equivalent) in either singles or doubles.
